Melbourne - Australia's cutest city?

In celebration of relocation of our new head office to Melbourne we dedicate this post to the city we love.  The clever tilt-shift time-lapse photography makes everything appear as built from miniatures.   Term 3 classes in French, Italian, German and Portuguese are now open for enrolment.  Those that have been waiting for Spanish courses, we will be starting in Term 4 with something special to make us stand out and provide an exceptional learning experience.

French For Travel

As a language of love and elegance, French is the 10th language in the world with over 129 native speakers worldwide. With many opportunities around the globe for international work, volunteering, relocation, and travel, French is a great language to learn to be able to effectively communicate.

A Doorway to Diverse Cultures
Due to the French colonisation of many parts of Africa and The Caribbean, French is a language that is spoken in 29 countries all over the world. Countries include Haiti, The Ivory Coast, Ghana, parts of Canada, and Belgium. This diverse base of French speakers is precisely why learning French can be a doorway to meeting and communicating with people from all over the world. In addition to being able to communicate, more and more business are moving into French markets, heightening the need for French bilingual professionals.

Courses
If still in primary school, secondary school, or university, one option available to learn French are organised courses in school. These courses will allow for structured learning of verbs and mechanics of the French language. Many times, the instructor of the course may even be a French native, allowing for a native point of view and influence on classroom instruction. Courses are also beneficial because they provide ample study material in the form of books and coursework that can be done after classes.

Lessons: Private and Group
Lessons are another useful tool that many would-be French learners use if they aren't in university or in school. Lessons can be tailored around a work schedule to aid French learning. Some that use lessons have had a foundation in French, and need refreshment or specific lessons to sharpen language speaking ability.

Practice, Practice, Practice
Living around a large French speaking population is a blessing for those seeking to practice speaking French during free time. If enrolled in courses at university, many students opt to take private lessons to sharpen what they've learned and continue to practice. Viewing television in French is also another way people learn to string together sentences and learn common idioms and phrases.

Learning French Will Be Beneficial
Some people learn French to be able to speak with a mate, some people learn it for love, while others still learn it for business or travel. Learning French will require dedication, practice, and a love of French culture. By utilising courses, lessons, and all other available resources, it is possible to learn French and speak it very well.

Italian For Travel

When you dream of travelling to Italy, do you imagine soaking up the sun at a predominantly English speaking resort? Do you wish to surround yourself with other non-native individuals and attend events and venues that are for other travelers and expatriates? Do you want to want to spend your precious vacation talking about English topics and events while continuing to look at the world through and English lens-- all while being served on by Italian locals? If I took a guess, I'd say that isn't why you want to travel to Italy.

Many of us dream of absorbing the world in a new way. We want to see the world though a different lens. We want to communicate effectively with the foreign people whom we wish to surround ourselves. We want our minds to be bolstered, our understanding of the world to grow, to explore previously unknown facets of ourselves. Taking a class to learn Italian, or any language for that matter, can do this for you. The greatest benefit of all however is the ability to speak to whole groups of people that were previously inaccessible to you.

By learning Italian you open yourself up to an enormous range of possibilities. Beyond having the confidence to speak to locals, to ask for directions, to order the right meal with the right accent, you gain the ability to truly understand the cultural aspects in a global environment. You gain the ability to understand those mesmerizing operas that haunt our hearts as we tearfully listen on. Some of the finest literature ever written becomes accessible to you in true form. Much of the finest art in the western world can be witnessed the way it was made. These are just a few aspects of what opens up to those fluent in Italian.

How can you truly enjoy a foreign land without understanding the basic method of communication unique to that land? How do you find your way home if you get lost and everyone and everything around you is not English? How do you get the best deals by impressing the Sommelier at your favorite restaurant in Rome? Without at least a cursory understanding of Italian you can never truly appreciate the nuances of the place that you travel. A few lessons in Italian can do this for you. And once the seed is planted and you have the hunger to learn more nothing will stop you from learning more about the language and people of Italy.

Spanish For Travel

There is no doubt in the world that learning another language has a myriad of benefits. Improved job opportunities, more social opportunities and a better enjoyment of life are just a few of the benefits. Learning Spanish is a great way to truly embrace yourself while traveling, and the ability to speak, understand and write the language will benefit you for the rest of your life.

One of the best ways to learn a foreign language like Spanish is by taking a language course. Language courses begin training you to speak the language with simple lessons at first. As you begin to become more fluent, you will learn the complexities of the language. These courses are very beneficial because you will be able to understand the basic necessities of life in Spanish very quickly. The more that you study and absorb the course materials, the better time you will have on vacation speaking the language.

There are so many different parts of the world that speak Spanish, so you will be able to go practically around the globe using your newfound knowledge of the language. You will become a master of the language if you continue to work on your skills and follow the courses as they are outlined. It is important to note that the lesson spiral around each other, so you really do get a better understanding of the language because it is constantly reviewed. It is very difficult to master a language when you do not have anyone to speak it with, but these language courses meet all of the needs that you will have trying to comprehend Spanish.

It goes without saying that we live in a competitive global society. When you understand the language, you may have the opportunity to travel for work and for relaxation. Many companies are really trying to improve their global outlook, so this is an opportunity for you to get ahead with your work as well.

Once you have enough knowledge to speak Spanish during your travels, you will become knowledgeable of the culture as well. The languages of the world are often based around the culture of that group of people. The language courses will give you that sense of understanding that is necessary to really become a "native" speaker.

Learning a foreign language is great because it makes it even easier to ascertain other languages. Many of the European languages are very similar, so the transition from one language to the next is a little bit easier. The mastery of another language with a language course is growing in popularity across the globe. Take control of your travel experiences by becoming more fluent in the countries you visit.
